TAAK holds EC meeting in Pahalgam, plans B2B networking outside J&K

Pahalgam: The Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) held its executive committee meeting in Pahalgam, chaired by President Rauf A Tramboo.

The committee focused on organizing B2B networking opportunities for members in key domestic and international markets, particularly emphasizing the winter season for marketing efforts.

The EC discussed feedback from the recent FAM trip to Gurez and the Annual General Meeting in Srinagar.

A special report was presented by Events Committee Chairman Mr Ghulam Nabi Bhat.

On the occasion, the EC strongly emphasised on its commitment to environmental preservation with social activist Manzoor Wangnoo appointed as Chairman of the Environment Subcommittee.

EC also resolved that TAAK would plant one million trees in the coming years as part of its environmental initiatives.

The meeting took place at the newly opened hotel The Vale Lodge. During the 2-day visit to Pahalgam TAAK also held interactive sessions with local hotel properties, including Hermitage, Forest Resort Pahalgam, Cottages by Mehtab Resorts, and Hotel Hilltop.

TAAK encouraged improvements in service quality for tourists during these discussions.

The meeting saw participation from several executive committee members and former presidents, including Peerzada Faiyaz Ahamad, Ashfaq Siddiq Dug, and Farooq Kuthoo. Secretary General Sajad Ahmad Kralyari was also in attendance, fostering collaboration and strategic planning for the future.
