Srinagar: Police have attached the immovable property of a “notorious” drug peddler in Kulgam, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.
The attached property includes a double-storied residential house and 13 marlas of land underneath it. These properties belonging to one Imran Ahmad Ganie, son of Late Mohammad Ramzan Ganie of Nassu Badragund Qazigund, Kulgam, were attached under section 68-F(2) of NDPS Act 1985.
“The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drug and psychotropic substances by the owner. The said drug peddler is presently detained under PIT NDPS act and is lodged at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu,” police said.
