Branch cutting, maintenance works: Power Controller Kashmir issues shutdown schedule of various lines

SRINAGAR: In order to carry out various works including stabilization, branch cutting, necessary maintenance, augmentation and twinning of lines, the Power Controller Kashmir issued the shutdown schedule for the information of the general public.
In view of these works, the 33kv Chari Sharief Tap power line shall observe shutdown on October 19 which shall affect the supply to the power Receiving Station Char-I and Char-II.
Pampore-BK Pora line and Khanda Tap line of 132/33 KV Pampore Grid Station shall observe shutdown on October 19 & 21 respectively affecting supply to the BK Pora, Khanda and Summerbugh Receiving Stations.
Budgam Waterhail line and Budgam Waterwani line of Grid Station Budgam shall remain shutdown on October 19 & 21 respectively affecting supply to the areas feeding from Receiving Station Waterhai and Waterwani.
Shariefabad Narbal line of Zainakote GS shall remain shutdown on October 19 owing to the Augmentation/Stabilization and Twnining of said line from Shariefabad Grid to Nagbal Receiving Station thereby affecting the areas feeding from receiving stations Narbal and Sanoor.
In view of Branch cutting and minor works, TRC Rajbagh line of Cheshmashahi GS shall remain shut down on October 24 and will affect the power supply to the areas feeding from the TRC receiving station.
Rawalpora Bagh-i-Mehtab line of 132/33 KV GSS Rawalpora Grid Station feeding Bagh-i-Mehtab shall remain shut down on October 21.
While Rawalpora Chanapora line, Rawalpora Rangreth line, and Rawalpora Airforce line shall remain shutdown on October 22 and shall affect power supply to the feeding areas of Chanapora and Bone & Joint; Rangreth and Wanbal; and Peerbagh receiving stations.
Likewise, the Rawalpora Silk factory line and GIS Tengpora Grid Narkara line shall observe shutdown on October 23 affecting the areas feeding from the Silk factory, Narkara and Gangbugh receiving stations.
GIS Tengpora Grid-Exhibition (Tapline) Allochibagh Bund Portion and GIS Tengpora KPBagh line of GIS Tengpora Grid Station shall remain shutdown on October 24 and shall affect power supply to the Nil (will be charged through SilkFactory line and KP Bagh, Jawahar Nagar Receiving Stations respectively.
TRC Rajbagh line/KP Bagh Rajbagh line shall also remain shut down on October 24 affecting the power supply to area feeding from Receiving Station Rajbagh.
Bemina Exhibition line and Bemina KP Bagh line shall remain shutdown on October 27 affecting areas feeding from Court Complex, GIS Batmaloo and Rakhiarth.
GIS Tengpora Grid-Exhibition Tapline Cargo Portion shall remain shut down on November 03 affecting areas feeding from Exhibition Receiving Station.
It is pertinent to mention that all these shutdowns shall be observed from 10 AM to 5 PM on respective days.
In view of the Oil Topping of Power Transformers/Stabilization of various Receiving Stations and Branch cutting, the Alusteng-Power House line shall remain shutdown on October 21 & 22 from 9 Am to 3 Pm affecting supply to Power House, Duderhama, Mini Secretariat and Contingency Plant.
Alusteng-Nagbal line shall remain shut down on October 21 from 9 AM to 3 PM affecting Shuhama, Nagbal, Tulbagh, Ganderbal, SKUAST and Masterplan.
Mattan Gopalpora and Dooru-Hiller Tap line of Mattan and Lisser GS stations shall remain shutdown on October 19 from 9 AM to 5 PM affecting Gopalpora, Kwarigam and Hiller Toll Post receiving stations.
Awantipora Sangam-I line of Awantipora GS shall remain shutdown on October 21 from 10 Am to 4 Am affecting Sangam, Khiram, Marhama, Khelan and LIS Khiram Receiving Stations while Gopalpora Iqbalabad of Mattan GS shall Remain shutdown on 22 from 10 AM to 4AM affecting Iqbalabad Receiving Station.
