Tangmarg: Ghulam Rasool Mir, a respected political and social figure from Ferozepura, Tangmarg, has passed away, leaving the community in mourning.
Mir, known for his contributions to the welfare and development of the area, had been a beloved figure in Tangmarg’s political and social circles.
Several prominent figures and organizations expressed their condolences, including the Gulmarg Tangmarg Working Journalist Association. Farooq Ahmad Shah, the newly elected Member of the Assembly (Gulmarg constituency), and former MLA Muhammad Abbas Wani joined the community in paying tribute to the deceased leader. Chairman of South Society Abdul Qayyum Wani, Shabbir Ahmad Mir of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and representatives from the Teachers Forum of Tangmarg and Kanzar also expressed their grief over the loss.
