Srinagar: Authorities at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura Friday informed that visitors to the healthcare facility will be allowed to meet their patients daily from 03:00 pm to 05:30 pm only.

They said that move has been taken due to threat of infection to patients and no person shall be allowed to see patients before or after the given schedule.

They also said that food items like rice, tea and fruits, etc., won’t be allowed inside hospital premises, and requested the general public to cooperate with hospital authorities for better patient management.

“It is for the information of the general public that they will be allowed to see their patients on a daily basis from 03.00 to 05.30 PM only. Due to the threat of infection to patients one is not allowed to see patients before or after the given schedule. Food items like rice, tea and fruits, etc., are not allowed inside hospital premises,” Medical Superintendent SKIMS said in a communication.

“We request you to cooperate with us for better patient management,” MS SKIMS added.
