GO inspects Facilitation Centre & Postal Voting Centre in Pattan AC

BARAMULLA: In a proactive measure to ensure a transparent and efficient electoral process, General Observer for 13-Pattan Assembly Constituency, Ujjwal Kumar accompanied by concerned Returning Officer, Gulzar Ahmad visited Pattan and conducted a thorough inspection of the Facilitation Centre located at Degree College Pattan today.

He also assessed the Postal Voting Centre (PVC) at the SDM office Pattan.

Speaking on the occasion, General Observer emphasized the importance of a well-organized electoral process. “We are committed to ensuring that every aspect of the electoral process is functioning effectively. It is vital that voters feel supported and informed as they prepare to cast their votes,” he stated.

He also highlighted the significance of accessibility and the need for facilities that cater to all citizens.

During the inspection, the team visited multiple polling stations, engaging directly with voters to gather feedback and address any concerns regarding the upcoming elections.

This visit reinforced the Election Commission’s commitment to upholding the integrity and efficiency of the electoral process in the 13-Pattan Assembly Constituency. The insights gained from interactions with voters will be crucial in refining the arrangements leading up to the elections.
