BARAMULLA: In a decisive step to uphold the integrity of the electoral process in Uri Assembly Constituency, Tehsildar Boniyar has disengaged Lumberdar of Pehlipora, Ubaid Ahmed Khan from his duties with immediate effect for the violation of  Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

This action follows the confirmed reports that Ubaid Ahmed Khan was actively participating in election campaigns for a political party, as a clear violation of the MCC, an official spokesman said.
