Srinagar: Ahead of Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Chenab valley tomorrow, the authorities on Sunday issued a traffic advisory for commuters travelling on National Highway-44.

The officials said that no movement of HMVs (load carrier) shall be allowed from 0500 hrs to 1700 hrs. on 16th, September 2024 from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) towards Jammu and from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44).

They said the load-carrier operators carrying fresh perishables/livestock are advised to load their vehicles accordingly.

Notably Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Chenab valley on Monday where he is scheduled to address three election rallies ahead of J&K Assembly elections.
