The museum, conceptualized and constructed by the Dagger Division and its Himalayan Brigade, stands as a testament to the valor, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the Indian Armed Forces in nation-building efforts. It showcases the Army’s pivotal role in various wartime efforts and its contributions to national development, alongside the rich cultural tapestry of Jammu & Kashmir.

Senior military and civil dignitaries were present at the inauguration, which marks a significant addition to Gulmarg’s array of attractions. The “Gul-A-Seum” offers an opportunity for tourists to enrich their understanding of the region’s unique traditions, art, and historical milestones, while also learning about the Indian Army’s engagement in Jammu & Kashmir.

The museum features an extensive collection of artifacts, documents, and interactive displays, allowing visitors to explore the cultural heritage of Jammu & Kashmir in a comprehensive and engaging manner. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to enhance the beauty of Gulmarg and provide a deeper appreciation for the region’s heritage, making it a must-visit destination for those travelling to this scenic part of India.
