Imtiyaz Mir posted as SSP Sgr; M Zaid SSP Bla

Srinagar: In an order issued by the Home Department, J&K government, Imtiyaz Hussain Mir has been posted as SSP Srinagar while as Mohd. Zaid has been posted as SSP Baramulla.

The order issued by the Principal Secretary, Home, reads that Gurinderpal Singh has been posted as Incharge Director, Police Telecommunications; Shobit Saksena has been posted as SSP (hqrs) CID; Imtiyaz Hussain Mir has been posted as SSP, Srinagar; Mohd. Zahid, SSP Baramulla; Gh. Jeelani Wani, SSP SSP Kupwara; Dawood Ayoub, SSP (TMG) CID and Ifroz Ahmad, SP Handwara.

The fresh postings have been made under the instructions and approval of the Election Commission of India.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir government issued transfer and postings of deputy commissioner of Shopian, and director, forensic science laboratory.

According to an order issued today, Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS (AGMUT:2018), is to be the new Managing Director of the J&K Tourism Development Corporation. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Commissioner of Shopian. Vivekanand Rai, IRS, shall give charge to him, who is serving as Director of Tourism in Jammu. Also, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, JKAS, Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, J&K, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian. These postings are part of the ongoing endeavor by the government to bring efficiency in administration,” reads the order.
