Body of missing 9-year-old boy found in Tral orchards

Srinagar: The body of a nine-year-old boy who went missing on Aug 25 from Gujar Basti, Saimoh in south Kashmir’s Tral was found today in an orchard, officials said.

Quoting officials, news agency NVI reported that they found the semi-decomposed body of the tribal boy Idrees Jan Bajad (9), son of Ali Jan Bajad, in an orchard in Sirnoo today.

Officials said that the body was taken over by the police for medico-legal formalities and forensic investigation.

The missing report for the boy was filed at Police Station Tral on August 25, 2024, the official said.
