Bandipora: A 30-year-old man died while a girl suffered injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in rolled down a hill along in north Kashmir’s Bandipora, Monday.
Officials said that an accident took place at Panar village, Bandipora where a vehicle (JK15B 8256) rolled down the road. Two persons — Showkat Ahmad Khan (30), son of Fayaz Ahmad Khan, resident of Turkpora; and Umiya Shahnaz (21), daughter of Shahnaz Ahmad Mir, resident of Quilmuqam, travelling in the said vehicle were injured.
They were shifted to the District Hospital Bandipora, where doctors declared Showkat Ahmad (the driver of the car) dead, while the girl as per latest reports, has been referred to a Srinagar hospital for treatment.
