Srinagar: Two government teachers died in a road accident at Largaam area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, witnesses said Friday.
Quoting eyewitnesses, news agency KNC reported that an accident took place at Largam, Shopian after a vehicle hit a two-wheeler, injuring both the rider and the pillion rider.
While one of them — identified as Riyaz Ahmad Dar son of Muhammad Ibrahim Dar of Kundalan, Shopian — died on the spot, the other — Sajad Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Muhammad Shah of New Colony, Largam — was injured. He was referred to SKIMS Soura but died on the way, the news agency reported.
