Srinagar: Nitish Kumar (IPS) who is presently functioning as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), CID will be heading the department henceforth.
An official spokesman, quoting an order issued by the Commissioer Secretary to the Government, J&K Home Department said that Nitish Kumar has been appointed as head of CID. Relieving R R Swain of the additional charge of the post.
