Div Com, ADGP visit MA stadium to review I-Day arrangements

JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar along with Additional Director General of Police, Anand Jain today visited MA Stadium to review the preparations for Independence Day 2024.

DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua, DIG Traffic, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, SSP Jammu, SSP Security, HoDs, senior officers of Police and Civil administration were present.

The Divisional Commissioner took stock of the different arrangements put in place by the concerned departments which included seating arrangements, security, parking, entry gates, facilitating transportation of participants and citizens, power, drinking water, medical facilities, sanitation, decoration, toilets and other necessary arrangements.

All the departments were asked to ensure that the requisite arrangements are finalized well in advance.

The Traffic department was asked to provide wide publicity to the parking spots from where the RTC buses shall ferry the citizens to the venue.

The Floriculture department was asked to decorate the venue while the Health department was asked to provide a team of doctors and paramedics at the Venue.
