Baramulla: A woman gave birth to triplets, all of whom are in excellent health, at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tangmarg, hospital authorities informed Thursday.
“This case is particularly noteworthy as all three babies were delivered naturally, without the need for a cesarean section—an uncommon occurrence for such cases,” a doctor of SDH Tangmarg informed.
The first baby was delivered at home. The mother later arrived at SDH Tangmarg where the remaining twins were safely delivered by a medical team led by senior consultant gynecologist Dr. Zainab Drabo. The team also included Dr. Nisar, Dr. Shafaq, Dr. Rafeeqa, staff sister Haleema, and Ruksana.
BMO Dr. Zahoor Ahmad assured that the hospital had all the necessary facilities and resources to successfully manage the delivery.
