DLSA Sgr organises cleanliness drive to commemorate 78th I-Day

SRINAGAR: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar in collaboration with Public Library Baghe Mehtab Thursday organized a comprehensive cleanliness drive at Legal Aid Clinic, Bagh Mehtab within the library premises.

The event was held under the guidance of Jawad Ahmed, Chairman DLSA Srinagar (PDJ, Srinagar) and under the Supervision of Jahangir Ahmed Bakshi, Secretary DLSA, Srinagar.

The cleanliness drive, inaugurated by Secretary DLSA Srinagar witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials of the DLSA Srinagar, library staff, para-legal volunteers, of DLSA Srinagar and workers from Municipal Committee Srinagar, who worked together to ensure a sparkling clean environment for the library patrons.

The cleanliness drive, held in the spirit of national pride and community service, served as a powerful symbol of the shared commitment towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

The cleanliness drive served as a meaningful gesture to commemorate the spirit of the 78th Independence Day, which will be celebrated on August 15th.

The initiative aimed to promote a sense of responsibility towards the environment and instil a shared commitment to cleanliness. The event underscored the importance of fostering a clean and healthy environment within the community, reflecting the spirit of unity and progress that defines the nation.
