Srinagar: A man lost his life after sustaining injuries during the excavation of stones in the Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that the man received critical injuries while excavating stones at Karhama Tangmarg.

He said that the man, identified as Ab Ahad Malik, a resident of Karhama, was shifted to a hospital in critical condition and later referred to JVC, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident.
