Srinagar: Two persons were injured after being attacked by a bear in the Ladhoo area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.

An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that a bear attacked two persons in Nagbal Ladhoo Khrew Pampore, resulting in injuries.

They have been identified as Mohd Aslam Kaluu Kheel, son of Sona Khan, a resident of Ladhoo, and Talib Hussain Khan Kheel, son of Mohd Iqbal, also a resident of Ladhoo.

Both the injured have been shifted to SDH Pampore for treatment, the official said.

He added that the wildlife department has been called, and locals have requested the department to capture the wild animal as soon as possible.
