Srinagar: A CRPF personnel died of a cardiac arrest in Srinagar, the summer capital, on Sunday.
Sources told the Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Scroll that an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the 82nd Battalion suffered a massive heart attack.
They said he was taken to Khyber Hospital in Srinagar, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, proceedings in this regard have been initiated. (KS)
