Srinagar: A woman from Baramulla died after she fell from a tree late Wednesday evening.
Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that 40-year-old Afroza Begum, wife of Mohammad Maqbool Lone, resident of Satarteran Baramulla, fell down from a tree and was critically injured.
She was shifted to SDH Tangmarg for treatment, from where she was referred to JVC Hospital Srinagar for further treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, proceedings in this regard have been taken up.
