Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Tangmarg and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Monday.
At Hospital Crossing Tangmarg, police intercepted and later arrested one Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Nadirgund, after 35 grams of contraband cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg for investigation, police said.
