Chairperson DDC B’pora chairs council meeting; finalizes plans under ADF

BANDIPORA: The Chairperson of District Development Council (DDC) Bandipora, Ab Gani Bhat, today presided over a council meeting at Mini Secretariat Bandipora to finalise plans under the Area Development Fund (DDC/BDC/PRI Grants).

The meeting witnessed the participation of Vice Chairperson DDC, Kousar Shafeeq; DDC members, Chief Executive Officer, DDC (ADDC) Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt; Chief Planning Officer, ACD, ACP and other concerned stakeholders.

The meeting discussed threadbare allocation and utilization of ADF Grants to bolster developmental initiatives across the district.

Chairperson, Ab Gani Bhat emphasized the importance of prudent planning and transparent execution in ensuring these grants positively impact the socio-economic landscape of Bandipora. He underscored the council’s commitment to prioritizing projects that align with local needs and aspirations.

The Chairperson expressed confidence that the finalized plans would pave the way for sustainable growth and equitable development in the district. He urged all stakeholders to collaborate effectively to expedite project implementation and achieve tangible outcomes.

He said, the District Development Council is committed to harness resources effectively and fostering inclusive development across Bandipora.
