Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Thursday.
He said at Baghi Sundri crossing Nowpora, police arrested one Showkat Ahmad Najar, son of Ghulam Nabi Najar of Hib Dangerpora, after 118 grams of contraband cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard for investigation, police said.
