Srinagar: Police in Kulgam have solved a burglary case by arresting three accused persons and recovered stolen property from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Thursday.
He said investigating a case of livestock theft, police zeroed in on three suspected persons — Imtiyaz Ahmad Malik, son of Gull Mohammad Malik of Sarmarag DH Pora; Zahoor Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Ramzan Ganie of Main Bazar Pattan, Baramulla; and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, son of Ghulam Hassan Mir of Wein Imamsahib, Shopian.
During questioning, they confessed their involvement in the crime. They were arrested and the vehicle (JK22-0598) used in the commission of crime has been seized. On their disclosure, stolen property was recovered. Further investigation is going on and more recoveries are expected, police said.
