SRINAGAR: Commissioner Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur today chaired the 89th meeting of the Board of Directors of Jammu Development Authority held in the civil secretariat here.
Apart from the regular agenda of approval of the budget and accounts of JDA, many important decisions were taken including monetisation of many land parcels in Jammu on a PPP basis and leasing out of the newly constructed general bus stand.
The meeting approved the regularization of excess built-up strips/excess land adjoining commercial sites at the rate of four times the stamp duty rates.
The Board members including Mohd Aijaz, Secretary Planning and Development Department, Pardeep Kumar, Secretary of the Forest Department, Rahul Yadav, Commissioner, JMC, Bhawani Rakwal, Vice Chairman, JDA and F A Lone, Director of General Codes as nominee of the Finance Secretary participated in the meeting.
