Special National Integration Camp commences at JAK LI Regimental Centre Rangreth

Srinagar: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Special National Integration Camp-2024 commenced today at JAK LI Regimental Centre Rangreth with prayers by all the Cadets, ANOs and staff at Sarv Dharm Sthal followed by an interaction with everyone. Many Cadets were attired in their traditional dresses symbolizing unity in diversity.

The NCC Cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates of the country have come to Srinagar for a Special National Integration Camp. The Camp is scheduled for 10 days from 20 Jun to 29 Jun 2024. The aim of this Camp is to acquaint the Cadets with the diverse culture and traditions of Jammu and Kashmir besides understanding each other’s customs, traditions and rituals.

The theme of this year’s SNIC is Jammu & Kashmir- Towards peace, prosperity and progress. The main attractions of the Camp include a celebration of International Yoga Day, and excursions to Gulmarg, Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden and the SPS museum. Directorate-wise sports competitions, quiz competitions and cultural programs will also be organized.

The Camp was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamps by Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM Group Commander, NCC Group Srinagar followed by an opening address.

The Cadets were excited amidst the beautiful surroundings of Kashmir Valley and are looking forward to enriching their experience with mutual interactions and learning.
