Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person, a police spokesperson informed Sunday.
He said acting on a complaint of one Bashir Ahmad Pandith son of Ghulam Nabi of Sanatnagar Srinagar, about the theft in his showroom at Chennad Baramulla, police after registering a case under relevant sections of law, with the help of technical analysis, zeroed in on the accused Mudasir Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Khushalpora Chennad, and arrested him.
During questioning, he admitted his involvement in the theft and on his disclosure, stolen property has been recovered from his possession. The police said that further investigation of the case is going on.
