Operating under the taglines ‘Radio Baramulla 89.6 FM – Alfaaz Hamare Ehsas Aapke’ and ‘Radio Uri 90.0 FM – Pahadon ki Dhun’, these stations are set to provide a diverse array of content. They will feature local achievers, government schemes, news, culture, and entertainment, giving residents a new channel to share their stories and aspirations.

During the inauguration, the Chinar Corps Commander emphasized the importance of these stations in fostering community spirit and providing a sense of belonging. He also felicitated local children who have excelled in various fields, ranging from martial arts to education, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.

The Guest of Honour at the event urged the citizens of Baramulla and Uri to utilize these new platforms to express their dreams and narratives. The stations have hired and trained local children as Radio Jockeys (RJs), offering them a unique skill development opportunity and a launchpad for their future careers.

The initiative has been warmly received by the citizens of Baramulla and Uri, who appreciate the new medium of entertainment and the sense of belonging it fosters. The establishment of these community radio stations by the Dagger Division marks a significant step in enhancing local engagement and community development.
