Srinagar: The Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Field Office Srinagar, organised a Yoga Awareness Programme at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Natipora on Saturday, in continuation with the International Yoga Day 2024 celebrations.
Aimed to emphasize the importance of yoga for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and community members who performed various yoga asanas. The event Expert speakers elaborated on the benefits of incorporating yoga into daily routines, underscoring its role in enhancing physical and mental well-being.
In addition to the yoga sessions, an open quiz competition on yoga was conducted, with winners and participants receiving certificates and mementoes.
Cultural artists empanelled with CBC Srinagar presented cultural and informative programs on yoga, blending entertainment with education to further highlight the significance of yoga in contemporary life.
