Vivek Bali Visits Akingam to Address Residents’ Concerns

Anantnag: JD(U) State General Secretary Vivek Bali visited Akingam today to engage with residents and listen to their grievances. During the visit, Mr. Bali held discussions with local families and representatives, who highlighted pressing issues including water shortages, inconsistent power supply, deteriorating road conditions, and other infrastructural challenges.

Residents expressed their frustration over the lack of reliable water sources, which has significantly impacted daily living and agricultural activities. The power supply in Akingam has been erratic, causing disruptions to households. Additionally, the poor state of roads has made transportation difficult, affecting access to essential services and economic opportunities.

Mr. Bali assured the locals that their concerns would be conveyed to the relevant authorities with urgency. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for immediate and long-term solutions to improve the quality of life in Akingam. “The grievances of the people of Akingam are serious and require immediate attention. I will ensure that these issues are addressed at the highest levels to bring about tangible improvements,” said Mr. Bali.

The visit concluded with a meeting with locals, where Mr. Bali reiterated his dedication to working alongside residents to address their concerns. He called for collective efforts and active participation from the locals to advocate for their rights and foster development in the region.

The JD(U) General Secretary was accompanied by the Chairman of the Sikh Community Dilawar Singh and Senior Leader Bashir Ahmed.
