DGP extends Eid greetings to residents of Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: The Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has extended heartfelt greetings on the joyous occasion of Eid to all residents of the J&K.

In his message, he expressed hopes that the festive season would bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to every home.

“Eid is a time of togetherness, reflection, and compassion. Let us celebrate this day with a renewed commitment to unity and harmony,” the DGP stated. He encouraged residents to embrace the values of kindness, charity, and gratitude that Eid embodies as they gather with their families and communities.

The DGP also took a moment to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for peace and harmony in the region. “Their courage and dedication inspire us to continue working towards a safer and more peaceful Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

In his message, the DGP expressed deep gratitude to the dedicated security forces and police personnel for their tireless efforts in maintaining peace and security in the region. “Your dedication ensures that we can all celebrate this festival in safety and joy,” he remarked.

He concluded his message by wishing that the blessings of Eid fill everyone’s lives with joy, hearts with love, and homes with peace.
