Srinagar: Police in Jammu on Friday said that some social media handles are spreading baseless rumours regarding people being told to “avoid night outing in Jammu”.

In a handout, police said that “fake information is being circulated by some social media handles regarding avoiding night outing in Jammu.” Police have taken strong note of such rumours and asked people that this information is absolutely baseless and not to take such rumours and fake information seriously.
