Kupwara: A 50-year-old man was found dead on Monday morning with his throat slit at his residence in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reaching News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a 50-year-old laborer identified as Abdul Hamid Khan, son of Gulla Khan of Mir Muqam Awoora, was found dead at his house with deep cut marks on his throat.
A police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. He said police visited the spot and removed the body for post mortem and after legal medico formalities body will be handed over to family for last rites.
