Baramulla: A man drowned in the River Jhelum in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday evening, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
It said a man, whose identity is not known, drowned in the river at Kakarhamam area of Baramulla, following which a rescue operation was initiated to retrieve the body from the river.
