An official said that a dumper driver, Showkat Ahmad Parray, son of Abdul Hameed Parray, resident of Yadder Pulwama, received an electric shock while unloading sand at Kounserbal. The driver died on the spot, news agency KNO reported.

His body was taken to SDH DH Pora for medico-legal formalities while police have registered a case in this regard.
