Addresses election rally in Hawal, Srinagar

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah Sunday said that the people of the Srinagar parliamentary Constituency need a representative like Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi who does not deviate from his principle stand.

He was addressing an election rally organised by In charge constituency Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq at DK Colony, Hawal. Among others party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Party’s candidate for Srinagar parliamentary seat Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmad, Women’s Wing President Shameema Firdous, Women’s wing provincial president Er. Sabiya Qadri, YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar, party leader Aga Yousuf were also present on the occasion.

He said that Ruhulla’s principled stand on his principles was the answer to people asking why he was given a mandate from the Srinagar Parliament constituency.

Omar said that the people of Srinagar need a representative like Aga Syed Ruhulla Mehdi because he is a man of principles, who has the courage to call a spade a spade. “He does not get bogged down by critics or if someone gets happy or unhappy with his stance. His focus is on what is objectively correct,” he said.
