Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.
He said police intercepted and later arrested two persons at a checkpoint established at Binner Crossing Baramulla after 80 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from their possession. They were identified as Javid Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Ramzan, and Tariq Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Nabi, both residents of Khadniyar Baramulla.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Baramulla for investigation.
