Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said at a checkpoint at Palhallan-Yadipora Crossing, one Irfan Ahmad Dhobi, son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Shah Mohalla Palhallan, was arrested after 115 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pattan for investigation in this regard.
