Kupwara: An elderly man missing from north Kashmir’s Kupwara was found dead this morning in the district.
An official said that an elderly man aged around 100, who had gone missing Yesterday morning, was found dead, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
He said that his body was seen floating in a stream near Shumriyal in Lolab. It was retrieved by the police and taken to Sub District Hospital Kupwara.
A police officer identified the body as that of Ghulam Mohiuddin Ganie of Kantpota Lolab. He said that after medico-legal formalities, the body will be handed over to the family for last rites.
