“Fighting polls separately will obviously benefit those who have pushed the people of Jammu and Kashmir into immense trouble. We have decided to fight polls jointly and pitch for restoration of statehood, end to power woes and other issues,” he said.

He added that Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari “had requested us to join hands for the greater cause of Jammu and Kashmir, and we obeyed the call.”
