This he said while addressing a workers’ convention organised by In Charge Constituency Chanapora Mushtaq Guroo. Guroo also organised an impressive road show prior to the event.

Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, NC candidate for Srinagar parliamentary seat Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Provincial Women’s wing Er. Sabiya Qadri, Minority wing organiser Sardar JS Azad, Local Party unit YNC, women’s wing & minority wing functionaries were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the function, Dr Farooq said, “INDIA bloc will win all six Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh. BJP has developed cold feet and has opted out of the race sensing an imminent drubbing at the hands of the National Conference. It’s hiding behind its proxies but that won’t work. Be it Lok Sabha elections or assembly polls, new records are being made due to your hard work. I am happy to see your enthusiasm but seeing your enthusiasm, other party leaders develop cold feet.”

“BJP has not been able to win hearts in Kashmir, decisions made in 2019 have angered and alienated people in the valley. The BJP has not left the field open. Some parties are being helped behind the scenes by the BJP.

People need to know who is playing this game here. It will be known who is conniving with whom and who is involved in conspiracies against J&K, weakening the voice here and helping BJP to succeed,” he said.

“The decision has to be taken by the voter. We were deceived and humiliated. If not by any other means, at least, through our votes we should raise our voices. It is a big opportunity for the voters in Srinagar to fill the political vacuum that has developed here,” he added.

Accusing PM Modi of speaking his mind by equating Muslims with infiltrators, Dr Farooq said that sensing an imminent drubbing BJP and its leadership is again stocking fear and playing the communal card. “However people are asking BJP questions on employment, development and progress. But their progress report is blank. You cannot feed the people with communal sentiments indefinitely. Our youth want jobs, our elderly want better health care, and our mothers and sisters want better services. People are fed up with the BJP and are ready to teach them a lesson in the underway polls. Udhampur and Jammu have spoken in one voice and rejected BJP. Now it’s the time for the people of Kashmir to answer in one voice against BJP proxies and minions here.”

Earlier in the day party candidate Syed Aga Ruhullah Mehdi addressed an impressive election rally in Chadoora. the rally was organised by Central Zone President Ali Mohammad Dar. local unit functionaries led by In Charge Constituency Chanapora Mushtaq.
