Srinagar: A soldier lost his life while three others were injured in a road accident in the Torna Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
A police officer said that an Army vehicle met with an accident in Torna Uri in which a soldier named Havaldar Mohammad Sagir died on the spot while three other soldiers were injured, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
He said that the injured soldiers were evacuated with the help of a chopper to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment while the dead body was taken for medico-legal formalities.
In this regard, a case has been registered and an investigation taken up, he added.
