Srinagar: A 25-year-old man was found dead in Wasoora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday afternoon.
An official said that some locals spotted a dead body in Wasoora village and immediately informed police, which subsequently reached the spot and recovered the body with the help of locals, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
The body was later identified as that of Junaid Ahmad Paul of Palapora Pulwama.
Police have registered a case and started inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of Paul’s death.
