RKFC, currently in 3rd place in the standings, has 40 points from 22 matches, including 11 wins, seven draws, and four losses.

Addressing a pre-match press conference, RKFC head coach Ishfaq Ahmad stated that TRAU is a challenging team to play against. “Saturday marks our last away game. Beating TRAU will be difficult, but I am confident that our boys will perform well and secure a favorable result,” Ishfaq said.

RKFC player Dion Menezes expressed his satisfaction with being part of RKFC this season. “It’s been a great experience being part of the team. We will strive to finish in the top three,” he added.

RKFC will play its last home match on April 13 at TRC Srinagar. Mohammedan SC is expected to remain at the top of the points table this year, while RKFC may finish 2nd or 3rd among the 13 teams participating from across the country.

Guided by local head coach Ishfaq Ahmad, the team primarily consists of Kashmiri players in the current season. RKFC stands as the sole club from J&K participating in the I-League.

Founded in 2016 by the late Sandeep Chatoo, RKFC has become a crucial platform for nurturing youth talent in the valley. Through its unwavering commitment, RKFC has provided the youth of J&K with opportunities to play in the nation’s top football leagues.”
