Jammu: Police have arrested another member of the Shallu group of gangsters who was involved in a shootout outside Government Medical College Kathua a few days ago in which a Police Sub Inspector Deepak Sharma was killed besides a gangster.
The gangster has been arrested from neighbouring Punjab where he had fled after the shootout, sources in Police said.
The sources said that two members of the gang had fled from the area after their leader Vasudev Sharma was killed and had entered the neighbouring state of Punjab.
“Jammu and Kashmir Police continued the hunt and today one of them was nabbed by Kathua police and has been brought back to J&K,” said the sources.
