Srinagar: J&K Peoples Conference President Sajad Lone chaired a significant block meeting of Block Lower Rajwar and Handwara town today while reaffirming the party’s dedication to grassroots engagement and community mobilization.

The event witnessed a formidable gathering of dedicated workers from two blocks, highlighting a groundswell of support and activism within the party.

In his address, Sajad Lone articulated his profound satisfaction at the exponential surge in support for the Peoples Conference, echoing sentiments of hope and renewal permeating throughout the Kashmiri political landscape.

“The evolving political dynamics in Kashmir signal a profound shift towards genuine change and inclusive governance,” asserted Lone. “Our mission is anchored in the principles of honesty, transparency and service to the people, devoid of empty rhetoric or superficial promises. It is incumbent upon us to fulfil the aspirations of our people and pave the way for a future defined by prosperity and opportunity.”

Lone also highlighted the need for party members to strengthen connections with grassroots communities, emphasizing proactive engagement and transparent communication.

“As we stand at the crossroads of history, we are reminded of the profound responsibility entrusted to us by the people of Kashmir. Our mission transcends mere political rhetoric, it is a solemn covenant to safeguard the interests of the marginalized, uplift the downtrodden and champion the cause of social justice. Let us forge ahead with courage and conviction, mindful of the transformative power of unity and collective action.”

The meeting saw the presence of party figures including senior leader Abdul Ahad Kashmiri and Ashiq Hussain, Block President Lower Rajwar Mohammad Shafi Bhat, YJKPC President North Kashmir Sulaiman Mir, YJKPC District President Mansoor Banday, YJKPC Vice President Kupwara Rahil Dar and several other notable attendees.

The party workers present in this meeting shared their perspectives, emphasizing the need for proactive measures to address resident challenges. The meeting concluded with unanimous support for the party’s strategic roadmap outlined by the President.
