DC Anantnag, SSP visit religious shrines ahead of upcoming festivals

Anantnag: In preparation for the upcoming festivals, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid, accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag, led a visit to various religious shrines.

The aim was to assess the security and logistical arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the upcoming festivities.

The officials commenced their visit by inspecting the revered shrines, ensuring that all necessary facilities were in place to accommodate the anticipated influx of devotees. They closely reviewed the security measures, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a peaceful and secure environment during the festivities.

SF Hamid expressed his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens participating in the upcoming celebrations. He emphasized the collaborative efforts of the district administration, law enforcement agencies, and religious leaders in facilitating a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere.

SSP Anantnag reiterated the significance of proactive security measures to preempt any potential disruptions or security threats. He assured the public of the police department’s readiness to uphold law and order and to address any emergent situations effectively.

The visit concluded with directives issued to relevant authorities to further enhance security arrangements and to coordinate closely with local communities to ensure the success of the upcoming festivals.
