Srinagar: A man allegedly committed suicide in Bonura area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said Tuesday.
Quoting a police officer, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a man (name withheld) from Bonura consumed some poisonous substance at his home late Monday night.
He was brought to District Hospital Pulwama where he breathed his last one Tuesday morning.
Sources said that the victim, working in the Forest department, had allegedly taken the extreme step over some family dispute.
Police have taken cognizance and started investigations.
