Secretary Heath reviews functioning of SKIMS

SRINAGAR: Secretary of Health & Medical Education and Director SKIMS, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, today convened a review meeting regarding the functioning of SKIMS.

The issues which came up for discussion in the meeting included the functioning of CT Scans, availability of Isotopes and Biochemical reagents, installation of Wide Bore CT Simulator and shifting of CT scans from DRDO Hospital to SKIMS.

The Secretary sought the details of various issues concerning the working of the institute. He instructed the officers to resolve the issues affecting the smooth functioning of the hospital at the earliest so that patient care is not hampered.

Later on, Dr Abid Rasheed along with officers also took on the spot visit to the CT installation site.
